THE GOLDEN GATE is also known as the Mercy Gate in the Jewish tradition. This is one of the city gates that that was not mentioned in the previous video that I shared with you about the Gates of Jerusalem. http://bit.ly/GatesofOLDCITYJerusalem. Traditionally, this gate is very important because we know that the Messiah is going to come through this gate to the Holy Temple area. As is mentioned in the video, the original gate was a little to the South of the existing gate which is now blocked. This video provides us with a good explanation about the dilemma of the Messiah on his way to Temple Mount. I must say that I trust the Messiah doesn't need advice from anyone to do his job :-) and is able to overcome all the obstacles presented in this video .
